Tell us when and where you were born.

Bloss was born on July 20, 1922.
Bloss passed on May 17, 2002.
I was sorry that Bloss was gone.

Tell us about your hands and your face and your heart.

Bloss had large hands but his hands were clumsy.
Bloss had a soft spot in his heart for dogs and cats.
Bloss had a large nose and one day at school a student brought in his pet dog and Bloss bent down to kiss the dog on its nose and the dog bit Bloss on his nose.
The dog bite was vicious and Bloss had to have stitches.
Bloss didn't look good w/ stitches.

Tell us what made you feel good.

Bloss was a school teacher and I was a student and we were both on summer school vacation.
Bloss and I went to the library and I got some Thornton Burgess books to take out.
Bloss and I went to his beach at the pond and I sat on a large granite stone that rested next to my blueberry bushes.
Bloss went swimming and I read my book.
Bloss’s beach was a place where you could go and you didn’t have to worry about time and money.

Tell us what made you feel sad?

I went to my blueberry patch and I remembered Bucky and Bloss.
Bucky and Bloss had potbellies and for them to keep their weight down was a real challenge.
Bucky was Bipolar and he needed lots of medication so he wouldn’t become violent.
Bloss was an insecure person and eating food and drinking soda made Bloss feel more secure.
Bucky was an earthy person and he dreamed of having a wife and child.
Bloss was a history-buff and he love reading about history
and he dreamed of writing a book.
Bucky and Bloss were unable to meet in the middle and they continued to tease each other about their potbellies.
Bucky wanted a family and Bloss wanted to write a book but they never realized their dreams.

Did you ever fall in love?

Bloss had a wife and children and I'm sure he had the ability to love.
Bloss never spoke of love 'cause that is what they did in the old days.
Bloss had a son and his son's little boy would go to the
kitchen pantry and search for cookies and Bloss would get a chuckle out of that.

Tell us about religion and you.

Bloss graduated from a Catholic school and Bloss was comfortable w/ his religion.

Give us a poem.

I’m glad.

You are my Dad and I’m glad that you played sports w/ me.
You are my Dad and I’m glad that you let me drive your new car.
You are my Dad and I’m glad that you watched sports on TV w/ me.

You are my Brother and I’m glad that you had a good wife and fine children.
You are my Brother and I’m glad that you had a big home and an expensive car.
You are my Brother and I’m glad that you were there for me.

You are my Mom and I’m glad that you gave me life.
You are my Mom and I’m glad that when I made a mistake you corrected me.
You are my Mom and I’m glad that you told me you loved me.

I’m glad.
I’m so glad.
I’m glad.
I’m glad.
